自然の中で快適に過ごせるハンモックのようなテント。円形を二つ折りしたフレーム内に正三角形の筒を吊って地面から少しだけ浮かせ、凹凸のある土地でも快適に過ごせる。遊戯性とともに自分や他者の身体を感じることが出来る。ゆらゆらと揺れる幾何学的なオブジェで、遊具としても機能する。固定する際は地面に打ったペグと紐を使う。
水色のアウターテントは耐引裂強度に優れた強靭な素材、超高分子量ポリエチレンによるダイニーマ®・コンポジット・ファブリック製。銀色のアウターテントは熱線を反射するポリエチレンファブリック製。メッシュ状のインナーテントは風を通し、虫の侵入を防ぐ。
本作は、2021年10月30日から12月12日にかけて山梨県北杜市の5会場で開催された「HOKUTO ART PROGRAM ed.1」に出展されたもので、清春芸術村の芝生広場に水色と銀色の2張が設置された。
A hammock-like tent that allows you to spend time outdoors in comfort. The structure consists of a tubular equilateral triangle suspended in a folded circular frame that is slightly raised from the ground, making it comfortable even on uneven terrain. It offers both playfulness and the ability to feel the presence of one’s own body and that of others. This geometric object gently swings and also functions as playground equipment. It is anchored to the ground with pegs and ropes.
The light blue outer tent is made from Dyneema® Composite Fabric, a highly durable material with excellent tear strength, using ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The silver outer tent is made of polyethylene fabric that reflects infrared rays. The mesh inner tent allows air to circulate while keeping insects out.
The work was exhibited at HOKUTO ART PROGRAM ed.1, held from October 30 to December 12, 2021, across five venues in Hokuto, Yamanashi. Two versions of the tent — one light blue, one silver — were installed on the lawn of Kiyoharu Art Colony.
